The world's first customizable waveboard. Different fin combinations depending on the conditions.
Onshore setting: Maximum power, grip and height gain. Perfect for jumping in onshore winds. The rear fins can also be moved. Forward for a slightly looser board, backward for more stability.
Sideshore setting: Softer arc through the turn with lots of control. Adjust the rear fins forward or backward to find the balance between a little looser and more stability.
Skate setting: The choice for fast, powerful waves and more skate feel.
What's really cool is that you now have a board that can be adapted to the conditions that suit where you live, as well as where you want to travel.
If I'm at home sailing at Margaret River in Australia or traveling up or down the coast looking for good waves, I'll switch between the Sideshore and Skate settings depending on the conditions or what kind of turns I want to make.
With the Sideshore setting I love the feel of contact, grip and drive. It gives you maximum power in turns, while still allowing you to release the fins when you hit a section.
But if I want to get more rotation in contact with the wave crest, I switch to the Skate setting, which completely changes the character of the board.
I no longer go to Sylt in Germany, but if I were to, I would switch to the Onshore setting to get out easier, be able to cruise upwind and get better backside riding.

Quad IQ is the first smart board with integrated adaptability.
It has the capacity to exploit all types of conditions.
I prefer the Onshore setting in most conditions because it makes wave riding easier.
If it starts to get windier or the waves get faster, I switch to the Skate setting.

New Slot Box: The box itself is 70% lighter than the regular US box. This means that you lose minimal performance even when running the single fin setup. There is room to move the fin 3 cm and it is possible to adapt current US fins to fit here as well.
Shape: Forward Vee that transitions into a reduced Vee between the feet and ends in a monoconcave in the tail.
The front Vee increases the rail's angle of attack when the board carves, creating extra drive in the turn.
The monoconcave channels the water through the tail and allows for a flatter rocker for higher speed and faster planing.
The tail rocker has extra tail kick to keep the board free and loose. The rails are soft and rounded like on surfboards – which gives a smooth and responsive ride.
